How an itinerary gets built
The planner is not a search engine, and not a general-purpose chatbot. It hands your trip parameters to Claude together with a human-verified European ski knowledge base, and gets back a day-by-day itinerary. Facts come only from the knowledge base — the model does not browse the web, and does not improvise.
Current status
Lodging, lift tickets, instructors and rental data for the first resorts are still being verified and entered by hand. The generator opens once that first batch is verified; until then, this page documents its inputs, mechanics and output structure.

From request to itinerary, in four passes
Match candidate resorts
Level, budget, preferences and travel from your departure city narrow the knowledge base to candidates. Resorts outside it never enter the pool.
Inject verified facts
Piste breakdown, lifts, tickets, lodging zones, ski schools, rental shops and transfers go into the model's context as structured data. That is the model's entire factual world.
AI composition
Claude does only what it is genuinely good at: pacing those facts into a day-by-day plan — acclimatise before progressing, lessons in the morning, buffer on the departure day.
Hallucination filter
Every output passes a validation layer: outbound links outside the knowledge-base allowlist are stripped, the recommended resort must resolve to a real entry, and the strip count feeds monitoring.

How we handle your information
Facts come only from the knowledge base
Your pricing, lesson types and opening information reach an itinerary only after they are entered into the knowledge base and verified by a human. The AI will not improvise a description of your business, or invent a product you don't sell.
Ranges only, with an audit trail
Every price on the site is a range carrying a “checked YYYY-MM · source” microline. We don't show precise figures and we don't promise live pricing — your own site is the authority.
Tracked links, no markup
Outbound links route through an internal redirect carrying a category and resort id, so both sides can reconcile. We don't take payment and we don't mark up — the transaction happens in your channel.
Reviewed by hand each October
The knowledge base gets a full review on the season's cadence, and prices and product information update with it.
This page describes the planner's design and its current implementation. Until the knowledge base is entered, the generator stays closed — we don't pad it out with placeholder data.
